Peter is celebrating 30 years in the entertainment industry this year and we have started 2023 strong with a successful sold out tour of Northern Ireland finishing with 2 amazing shows in St Anne’s Cathedral.  

We are excited to announce Peter, along with a wonderful cast, is returning to the Netherlands with a brand new production of “The Showman is Coming” .
Before the tour the show will be premiered at the Theatre at the Mill for two performances only

APPEARING WITH THE SHOWMAN


AARON KAVANAGH (The Prince)

Aaron is a BA Musical Theatre graduate from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland who has travelled the world performing in multiple productions of Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show and Time Warp-ing over 500 times. Being part of the European Tour ’17/18, UK Tour ‘21/22 and European Tour 2022, Aaron has played Male Phantom 1, Frank’n’Furter, Brad, Riff Raff, Rocky, Eddie and Dr Scott at various points.

Aaron also performs in his own show; Beyond the Yellow Brick Road, a show celebrating the music of Sir Elton John; on various cruise lines, in London and across the UK.

Theatre includes; Balladeer/Milkman in Maggie May (Finborough Theatre, London), Lead Vocalist in This is the Greatest Show (UK Tour) and Young Ben in Burt Bacharach’s Some Lovers (The Other Palace, London).

ADAM ASHFORD (Pierrot)

Adam is a professional dancer from Bangor, trained at The Urdang Academy with a Dance and Musical Theatre BA Honors Degree. Since graduating, Adam has worked across the UK and USA.

Recent credits include movement artist for VFX in ‘The Watchers’ Warner Brothers and Blinding Edge Pictures, New Line Cinema (Ishana Night Shyamalan), dancer in ‘The History of Tom Jones: A Foundling’ BBC (Arthur Pita), dancer in ‘Disenchanted’ on Disney+ (Adam Shankman) and choreographing the UK’s top Cher tribute act in their theatre tour ‘Essentially Cher’.

Adam will be stepping into the role of choreographer at The MAC in Belfast with their professional production of ‘The Night Before Christmas’ 2023.

ANITA WOODS (The Flying Doll)

Anita Woods is a circus artist based in Belfast whose performance journey began after being accepted into a full time circus training programme ‘Advancement, into the future’ run by Belfast Circus School.

Since graduating she has worked professionally throughout Ireland, America and Europe.

She specialises in aerial (including cloud swing, silks and Spanish web) contortion and in hand balance.

ANNA TENNYSON (Sapphire)

Anna is a graduate from the MGA Academy of Performing Arts Edinburgh with a BA (Hons) degree in Musical Theatre. Credits whilst training include Fates in Hadestown, dancer in Me and My Girl, Rapunzel in Into the Woods, dancer in The Wedding Singer and vocalist and dancer in A Christmas Wish (Usher Hall, Edinburgh).

Since graduating Anna has worked as a vocalist and dancer on multiple corporate events with Peter Corry Productions including The Wish Sisters, The Northern Lights and Gatsby. Earlier this year Anna was on tour as a vocalist and featured dancer with Thank You for the Musicals.

ARRAN BELL (Toreador)

Arran trained at the Italia Conti Arts Centre. Since graduating, credits include; Louis in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (Union Theatre); Indigo in Another Rose (Virgin Voyages); Ensemble/Dance Captain in Beauty & The Beast (Godalming Town Hall); Ghost in When Darkness Falls (UK Tour); Ensemble in Goldilocks & The Three Bears (Grand Opera House, Belfast); Ensemble in Cinderella (Grand Opera House, Belfast).

Arran has also worked as writer, composer and lyricist on Pollution (Old Red Lion, Lyric Hammersmith) and The Unimportance Of Being Gay (Guildford Fringe, The Union Theatre).

ASHTON (Harlequin)

Ashton is a multidisciplinary queer and neurodivergent artist, working in movement, theatre and circus. An unashamed ‘Jack-of-many-things’, Ashton’s creative practice has taken them in all manner of unexpected directions.

They accidentally fell in love with trapeze whilst trying to navigate a very serious career as an actor. Twelve countries and several questionable costume choices later, they now work across multiple art-forms, creating pieces which explore authentic communication and connection, and working to combine text with physical expression.

Highlights include: Shoreleave (Currach Circus), Old Curiosity Show (Amadan), The Onion of Shame (Fenix), Squash (The Barren Carrousel), The Little Mermaid (Big Telly), The Snow Queen (Fidget Feet).

CHRIS GIRVIN (Galileo)

Chris graduated with a BA Hons in Acting in 2017. Since then, theatrical roles include Hamlet in Hamlet, André in Ella Hickson’s Eight and Ariel in Martin McDonough’s The Pillowman.

Chris has also been performing with Peter Corry Productions across Ireland since 2017 as a part of Peter Corry Productions’ Red Velvet Cabaret, Groovy Baby, performance at the World Dairy Summit and Gatsby, a 1920’s inspired performance.

EMILY MCDONAGH (Kazoo)

Emily is an experienced Belfast-based performer specialising in dance, circus and cabaret. In addition to working with Peter Corry Productions, her practice includes performing, creating and collaborating with new and established companies and independent artists both nationally and internationally.

She is part of several successful collaborations including multi-award winning Yuck Circus, Curragh Circus and POKE Theatre; an upcoming physical theatre company with a focus on merging dance and circus.

Emily is also a resident dancer at Belfasts’ only Cabaret Supperclub while also being an active member of the Vault Artist Studios, a major contributor to the cultural identity of Belfast City.

JOHANNA JOHNSTON (Urchin)

Johanna is a graduate of Urdang Academy, with credits whilst training including; Sarah in Our House, Oliver Ostrovsky in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Elle Woods in Legally Blonde.

Since graduating, credits have included: Hannah Adams (Hope Street, BBCNI), Saltine/US Leona (Beauty and the Beast, Hereford Courtyard Theatre), Lennox and Witch 3 (Macbeth, Chiswick Playhouse), Tailor and TInky (Original Demo Recording – Tink the Musical), Slave of the Ring (Aladdin, Imagine Theatre, Venue Cyrmu), Ensemble (Original Workshop Cast – Érainne: A New Musical), Slave of the Ring (Aladdin, The Millennium Forum, Londonderry).

PALMIRA RENDILHEIRO (Bearded Lady)

Palmira Rendilheiro was born and raised in South Africa, and classically trained at the prestigious School of Dance, University of Cape Town. After graduating with a BA in dance performance, she began her professional career with contracts both in South Africa and abroad.

Palmira moved to Belfast in 2018 and made a home for herself within the dance community. For the past 3 years she has been living between Belfast & France, as she has been working as a choreographer for the largest Siblu resort.

Palmira is excited to return to the Peter Corry Productions team as Dance Captain for the upcoming tour.

NIKOLA ARKANE (The Great Illusiana)

Nikola Arkane is a multi-award winning Magician from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Best known for creating Northern Ireland’s loved children’s character and show, FizzWizzPop! Since 2011, Nikola has received international recognition with performances at; Magic Castle (Hollywood, USA), 654 Club (Chicago,USA), 2022 Semi-Finalist in Talang (Sweden), The Magialdia festival (Vitoria, Spain), Magic Club (Oslo, Norway), Mystique (Stockholm, Sweden), The Magic championships in Zeist, The Netherlands, Congress Theatre (Eastbourne, England) and the 2022 Magic Circle’s Christmas Shows (London).

In 2023, Nikola was voted The International Rising Star Awardee by Magicana and The Allan Slaight Foundation and appeared on the cover of Genii Magazine. She has won the British Close Up Championships (2019) and Ali Bongo Close Up Micro Marathon (2019 and 2022).

SEAN O’NEILL (Strongman)

Sean O’Neill is an artist and creative from Dungannon, Co. Tyrone. Recent credits include the Thank You For The Musicals 2023 Tour with Peter Corry Productions, Movement Director in NI Opera’s premiere of Nobody/Somebody and dancer in La Traviata at the Grand Opera House Belfast, a Featured Dancer in the Disney+ feature film Disenchanted, and Sleeping Beauty at the Millennium Forum, for which he received a ‘Best Comic’ nomination from UK Pantomime Association.

Working as a director, choreographer and facilitator in addition to performing, Sean is proud of his work with DU Dance NI’s Belfast Boys contemporary dance group, aged 7-17.
