Last year, I was asked by @petercorryproductions_ to create an arrangement of the wonderful @gameofthrones theme by the incredible @ramindjawadi_official using Irish traditional instruments. Game o’ Thrones, if you will. So I called in the AMAZING @oisin_macanna on pipes, whistle and Bodhran, I fired in the guitars, low whistle and the big drums through my trusty @roswellproaudio mics and @cranborneaudio pres(with a bit of reinforcement courtesy of @spitfireaudio ) and to top it all off, @irmiwolvin brought her world-class sound, feel and expression to the cello part. Huge love to the global GOT family – and especially to my friends @carla_stronge_casting and @andrewmcclayactor #recording #recordingstudio #gameofthrones #gameofthronesmusic #gameofthrones #arranger #coversong

Showcase opportunity.
Two to three times a year we hold an open showcase date to meet new talent.
We ask performers to come in and showcase the best of their talents and talk to us about where they are in their performance journeys, what they are doing now and what they want to do in the future. This helps us shape our approach to how we work with them.
As we never know what variety of casting briefs are going come to us, this allows us to keep a broad talent pool that we are able to work from. Depending on what skills and talents any given brief will require of us, we are able to cast from our diverse range of artists and skills.
This helps keep our approach fresh and allows room for growth in what can sometimes feel like a closed shop.
Artists often return to showcase new skills they’ve developed or come back to chat to us to let us know they want to work and be seen in a different capacity.
New talent has a chance to engage with us on their terms and we are also able to help and advise people on their journey as an artist.
We are interested to meet every kind of artist from singers, dancers and musicians to speciality skill artists and multi skill performers. We want to meet creatives we didn’t know existed, writers, composers, event managers… the list is wide open.
We can’t employ everyone on every job, it just doesn’t work that way but, we do aim to employ widely across the artists we know of and give a variety of artists opportunities where we can.
Our only requirements are to be 18+ and to have a base in Northern Ireland. We are a proud supporter of talent from Northern Ireland or returning back to Northern Ireland and champion this throughout our projects.

Now that the dust has settled, we want to say the biggest of well deserved congratulations to Ashley for receiving this.
Our journey with Ashley started over 12 years ago where we met him as the Artistic Director to vocal group Adoro who were guesting that year at The Music Box, our annual Xmas show that ran for 10 years.
Since then we’ve collaborated and worked with Ashley on numerous shows and projects over the years.
He has a gift for vocal training that’s unparalleled here in Northern Ireland, where working with the most meticulous training, he helps to develop young voices to confidence and great sound.
With nearly 100 students successfully auditioned and accepted into vocational training, shows all over the world have his students at the heart of them.
The Musical Theatre landscape in particular is all the richer for having him as a part of it.
We can say proudly that we work with some of the very best.

When @victoriasqbelfast go for a theme they really go for it.
Look at all the beautiful details from the boarding passes to the cabin crew’s ID tags.
Our crew had an absolute blast, we didn’t stop laughing all night.
From check in, to getting the audience to catwalk to their seats and of being the hype squad for the models between every change. Wow, can some of them run in a heel!
Of course, it wouldn’t be a plane journey without the all important safety announcement.
Happy to report a smooth landing and fabulous onward journey for all.

Parliament Buildings at Stormont
US trade delegation dinner.
Last autumn we were tasked with a very quick turnaround to create a bespoke programme of entertainment for a group of trade delegates in support of encouraging inwards investment to Northern Ireland by leading US firms and investors.
With a distinctly NI flavour that gave a nod to heritage but was also forward looking, our singers, musicians and dancer had the guests enthralled while the BSPA Voices brought the voice of the future with their ear worm performance of ‘Roar’.
Genuine standing ovations and cheers from the guests let us know we had hit the mark and the feedback from our client was equally warm, thanking us for bringing a sense of positivity to Parliament Buildings and putting a spring in people’s steps.
Thanks to our team for making this an enjoyable and successful night.
