All over the country thereโs live entertainment happening and events like the Fleadh help bring focus to that so this is also for all the hard working events teams out there.
People coming together to enjoy dance, music and singing should always be celebrated and supported.
In order to get up the smallest of stages to the largest there are scores of people involved for months or even years planning every detail to make your experience as an audience member the best they can make it with the resources available to them.
So, go to the big gigs but donโt forget the small and all those in between because they are all part of a performers journeys and they need audiences to turn out to watch, listen, engage, try something new, enjoy, feel, laugh, be kind,cry and dance along.
This is our front of house team from our Bangor Beats and Rhythms event yesterday in Holborn Square car park. A brand new venue so a huge amount of planning and conversations with the local businesses and residents all around to work out how to make it work.
Thousands of people turned out to laugh, eat, dance, enjoy and thatโs a huge thank you from us to them for coming as well. Around the outside of that was this team reacting, responding, checking toilets, looking after audience, emptying bins, doing surveys, supporting the artists, supporting the tech team, supporting the security team, supporting the council and turning on a penny constantly to make the experience as smooth as possible.
This team were there at the first and out at the last. An insanely long day and still smiling and laughing when we left.

Time moves in strange ways when you are in the run up to shows and a weekend like this, it takes months in the planning.
12 months since the initial concerts took place
11 months since we said to ourselves โshall we do it again?โ
9 months since we approached our artists with the idea of being involved
7 months since tickets went on sale
5 months since we started planning our press launch
3 months since the launch
1 month since we were in the middle of constant torrential rain fall debating how many ponchos we were going to have to buy
3 weeks since the weather decided to give us a break ๐ฆ๏ธ
2 weeks since we welcomed everyone through the doors of Hillsborough Castle and the concerts took place under (mostly) blue skies and sunshine (phew!)

There was more dancing again in the audience and lots of love in the space. Everyone singing along to Eidelweiss was really touching and Sunday from Sunday In The Park With George as the sun was setting brought goose bumps.

With everyone in attendance being upgraded to kings and queens @hillsboroughcastle was the rightful setting for our audience and performers.
With plenty of crowd pleasers, plenty of charm and plenty of flirting, we wowed and wooed everyone in equal measure.
The diamond of the evening was chosen and laughter rang through the air.
There was also more dancing which we wholeheartedly endorse for tonightโs musicals show.
