Although we’d love to share every detail, some jobs require us to be discreet.
What we can say is that we were proud last night to be able to provide work for 50 freelancers under one roof. Not all jobs have to be massive to be great but this was a big one and a fantastic brief to be asked to execute.

Six Mile Festival returns this weekend 🤩🌸💦
We are excited to see headliner, Peter Corry take to the stage on Saturday night and now we have even more good news!
He will be joined by special guest, @jaynewisener, who will demonstrate her powerful singing voice. You may recognise Jayne from her acting performance in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007), Jane Eyre (2011) and Misfits (2009)!
Not to mention the extraordinary Anna Maria Boyle, who will open the night in style 🎙️ You’ll want to get in early, as this is a performance not to be missed!

Who doesn’t love a good murder?!
When @callowevents asked us to create a murder mystery for their client event we couldn’t wait, as massive fans of crime and good/bad puns. With the event based out of Malone House we already had images of the love child of Agatha Christie and Acorn Antiques dancing through our heads.
With a jam packed schedule for the guests we were then placed with the challenge of just how and when to fit it in?
In the end, we created a speed murder mystery with the first part taking place on the buses transporting the guests from work to the venue so we had 15 minutes to hit all the right notes and get our suspects in a row. With each busload guided by one of our seasoned detectives, the guests had only the journey time to come to their conclusions. They then had to make an informed accusation/mad guess before they disembarked at the venue ready for drinks and a party, turning what could otherwise be a bit of a boring journey into a dynamic and energised start to the night.
This was all a complete surprise to the guests who then turned up to chalk outlines and police tape galore at the house.
After some drinks and incredible catering, the guests gathered around for the final reveal of whodunnit with prizes awarded to the winners.
We had a blast and the guilty culprit was successfully placed into custody.

Showcase opportunity.
Two to three times a year we hold an open showcase date to meet new talent.
We ask performers to come in and showcase the best of their talents and talk to us about where they are in their performance journeys, what they are doing now and what they want to do in the future. This helps us shape our approach to how we work with them.
As we never know what variety of casting briefs are going come to us, this allows us to keep a broad talent pool that we are able to work from. Depending on what skills and talents any given brief will require of us, we are able to cast from our diverse range of artists and skills.
This helps keep our approach fresh and allows room for growth in what can sometimes feel like a closed shop.
Artists often return to showcase new skills they’ve developed or come back to chat to us to let us know they want to work and be seen in a different capacity.
New talent has a chance to engage with us on their terms and we are also able to help and advise people on their journey as an artist.
We are interested to meet every kind of artist from singers, dancers and musicians to speciality skill artists and multi skill performers. We want to meet creatives we didn’t know existed, writers, composers, event managers… the list is wide open.
We can’t employ everyone on every job, it just doesn’t work that way but, we do aim to employ widely across the artists we know of and give a variety of artists opportunities where we can.
Our only requirements are to be 18+ and to have a base in Northern Ireland. We are a proud supporter of talent from Northern Ireland or returning back to Northern Ireland and champion this throughout our projects.

Now that the dust has settled, we want to say the biggest of well deserved congratulations to Ashley for receiving this.
Our journey with Ashley started over 12 years ago where we met him as the Artistic Director to vocal group Adoro who were guesting that year at The Music Box, our annual Xmas show that ran for 10 years.
Since then we’ve collaborated and worked with Ashley on numerous shows and projects over the years.
He has a gift for vocal training that’s unparalleled here in Northern Ireland, where working with the most meticulous training, he helps to develop young voices to confidence and great sound.
With nearly 100 students successfully auditioned and accepted into vocational training, shows all over the world have his students at the heart of them.
The Musical Theatre landscape in particular is all the richer for having him as a part of it.
We can say proudly that we work with some of the very best.

Our crew had an absolute blast, we didn’t stop laughing all night.
From check in, to getting the audience to catwalk to their seats and of being the hype squad for the models between every change. Wow, can some of them run in a heel!
Of course, it wouldn’t be a plane journey without the all important safety announcement.
